Palace Kempinski (High-end)
Rest like a sultan in the best hotel in Djibouti, where elegance meets oriental luxury, in a destination full of wonders.
Awaken from comfortable beds and enjoy an impeccable panoramic view of the beautiful Gulf of Tadjoura. The experienced team and personalized services invites you to a pleasant stay where not only experiences are made, but memories are created.
Les Acacias Hotel (Semi-luxe)
Les Acacias Hotel provides a private sanctuary and safe haven in the heart of Djibouti. The hotel is located in Lotissement Heron, on a small private beach overlooking the warm turquoise sea waters and within walking distance to the Djibouti Palace. The hotel has a pool and is well connected to the international Djibouti Airport as well as the Djibouti Port and the commercial centre, which are located a 10-minute drive away.
Lagon Bleu (Mid-range)
Lagon Bleu is a simple but functional hotel located within walking distance of several points of interest like, the French Cultural Center and Dolphin Dive Center. The international airport is only 5 km away from this hotel.
Hotel Village Les Sables Blanc (Mid-range)
This lovely oasis is located right on what is considered to be the best beach in all of Djibouti. Here you can relax in a lovely setting, have a swim in the sea, explore the marine life just off the shore and admire the beautiful sunset over the Red Sea.
Le Golfe (Budget)
This budget-friendly, yet well-kept, resort is located in a relaxing waterfront setting, about 1.5km from the town centre in Tadjoura. The hotel’s
12 bungalows are basic but functional and some rooms feature sea views. There is also a little dipping pool. The on-site restaurant offers excellent meals which you can enjoy on the terrace while taking in vistas of the Gulf of Tadjoura.
Asboley Camp (Very basic)
At Asboley Camp you will spend the night in traditional Afar huts. These dwellings are extremely basic, offering raised beds with foam mattresses. In case of heavy rains there are also very hot cement block buildings with bunk beds. What this campsite lacks in comfort it more than makes up for in location. The campsite is perched on a plateau by Lac Abbé, offering superb views of the moonscape-like surroundings. Don’t miss the afternoon sunset when the light creates surreal silhouettes of the limestone chimneys.
