For those short on time and eager for a safari in one of the most remote national parks in South Tanzania or as an extension to your safari in East Africa. This is your chance to get a glimps of the untames wilderness of Ruaha national park.
Today you fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha national park. This national wild ecosystem hosts ostrich, cheetah, kudu, and sable antelope.
With 530 different species of birds it is an excellent park for birding enthusiasts as well, with numerous migrant and endemic species present.
The coming nights you will spend at the luxury Ruaha River Lodge. Set on an excellent location on the banks of the great Ruaha River. The cottages are spacious and will furnish with everything you need. You can see wildlife throughout the day with an excellent view from your private veranda.

Many call Ruaha “the best kept secret in Tanzania” because of its huge size, remote location, and extensive array of wildlife. The lifeline of this park is the great Ruaha River which attracts a lot of species, especially in the dry season. Today’s drive will take you into Ruaha for a full day safari experience.
You arrive back at the accommodation at the end of the afternoon.

Once again you will wake up early for a full day safari in this wonderful national park. You can take a packed lunch with you to have a picnic lunch somewhere in the park.
In the afternoon you will go again for a game drive in this spectacular park because there is much more to see.

After an early breakfast you will head out for your last game drive en-route to the airstrip. This is your last chance to spot some animals on the way!
Then it is time to say goodbye to the staff of the lodge and the amazing experiences you had in Ruaha national park. You will fly with the morning flight of Coastal avaition back to Dar es Salaam airport.
The transfer from the airport to Dar es Salaam is not included. Please let us know if you wish us to include one (or more) nights in Dar es Salaam.
